The Holy Spirit in the book of Acts

Faith Sheet
Transformation Verse (September) Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”
John 10:27

Main Point: We are enabled by the Holy Spirit to pour into the next generations.

#1- Reviewing this Past Sunday
Who’s Next?

1. Read Psalm 78.
2. Write down or share all the actions that God did in this   passage.
3. Who is your Barnabas (someone regularly encouraging you), Paul (someone discipling you), and Timothy (someone you are discipling)? If you don’t have people who could become these for you, who could you ask this week?
4. Who’s your “next” that is a generation away?
5. How could you be intentional today about discipling the next generation and the generation after that?
6. Pray for your “next” and the “next” after that.

# 2- Preparing for Next Sunday
Why Godly Encouragement is so Important
Hebrews 6:13-20

1. Read Hebrews 6:13-20 and 10:24-25. What do you notice about God’s use of encouragement and also the value of us encouraging others?
2. Godly encouragement stimulates others to keep moving forward in Christ-like faith, hope, and love. How does this type of encouragement differ from worldly encouragement?
3. How did your family of origin encourage one another?
4. How do your present family and church express encouragement that motivates you to keep moving forward in your walk with Christ?
5. Pray for this Sunday and how you might encourage one another.
