Faith Sheet
Transformation Verse
(January) (Jesus said) …In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have overcome
the world.
 John 16:33

Main Points: Questions can turn to praise when our hearts are submissive and seeking after God. When we find ourselves in a place of questioning, turn to His Word, and wait. Remember that God is at work in your present circumstances.

#1 - Reviewing this Past Sunday
When God is Questioned
Habakkuk 2:2-5, 3:16-19

1. Read through Habakkuk. Review the dialogue that occurs
between Habakkuk and God with a friend or family member.
2. Have you ever questioned God? Explain.
3. Read Romans 1:17, Gal. 3:11, and Heb. 10:38. Why is living by
faith essential in both Habakkuk and in these scriptures? How
    does this center on Christ?
4. Share a time in your life when God has answered your prayer
differently than you expected. What was your response?
5. Pray this week that our questions lead to praise and that
through Christ we can rejoice in our circumstances.

# 2- Preparing for Next Sunday
Malachi: A Conversation With God
Will You Listen to Me?   Malachi 1:1-5

1. Read Malachi 1:1-5 or the whole book. Look up why the book
was written, to whom it was written, and why.
2. Malachi means “God’s messenger”. What are some important
marks of one who is God’s messenger? (Jeremiah 15:16,
   1 Cor.10:31, Gal. 1:10)
3. Why is listening to God so important in our daily lives? (John
    6:63, Psalm 119:50, 119:105)
4. Pray for us to treasure Him more during this study of Malachi.
