I. Two Stages of Christ’s Rule on the Earth
1. Inner Kingdom - Nature/one at a time (20-21)
Mt. 10:7 - …preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'
Mark 1:15 – (Jesus was) saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."
Luke 10:8-11, 11:14-23, 12:28-34
2. Universal Kingdom - Complete/worldwide (22-37)

II. How is the King using His people in the Kingdom?
1. As priests
Revelation 1:5-7 - To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood— and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.
2. Instruments of healing
James 5:16-17 - …confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
3. Declaring righteousness/joy
Romans 14:17 - …the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
4. Instruments of Life
Matthew 28:18-20 - Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; …I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Monday, 3-18-13 - Reflecting on Yesterday
1. Read Luke 17:20-37 & discuss Sunday’s message with someone.
2. What did you learn about His Kingdom and yourself?
3. Pray for a passion to see Him face to face.
Tuesday, 3-19-13 - Reflecting on this Past Sunday
1. Read 1 John 3:1-3.
2. What does God want you to know and enjoy? (vs 1)
3. What can worldly people not see? (vs 2)
4. What does His return motivate His people to seek? (vs 3)
5. Pray for our desire to be holy in or daily lives as we await His return.
Wednesday, 3-20-13 - Reflecting on this Past Sunday
1. Read Titus 2:11-15.
2. What are all true believers to be looking for now? (vs 13)
3. How are we described? (vs 14-15)
4. Pray for us to truly long for His appearing.
Thursday, 3-21-13 - Preparing for this Sunday-Reign of God Part 2
1. Read Luke 17:20-37. Pray as God leads you.
2. Read 2 Timothy 4:6-8. What do true believers love? (vs 8)
3. How did Paul live (vs 6-7) because he longed for “His appearing”?
4. Pray for His people and those who do not know Him yet.
