I.  Trust that the Lord is sovereign & sufficient.

3. “Beside still waters”   Psalm 32:4-8   

4. “He restores my soul” 

Psalm 119:88 - Revive me according to Your lovingkindness, So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth.

Psalm 119:107 - I am exceedingly afflicted; Revive me, O Lord, according to Your word.

Psalm 143:11 - For the sake of Your name, O Lord, revive me. In Your righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.

Psalm 85:6-7 - Will You not Yourself revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You?

II.        Obey Him for His name’s sake ( 3-4)

 Psalm 25:1-22

III.        Surrender all enemies to Him  (4-5)

 1. Fear of disapproval

2. Fear of failure     

IV.        Rest in His love & goodness  (6)

Monday, 9-24-12 - Reflecting on yesterday  

  1. Read Psalm 23 again.
  2. Review Sunday’s message with someone. Are you committed to being fully mature in Christ?  How are you being led to mature lately?

 Tuesday, 9-25-12 - Reflecting on this past Sunday

  1. Read 1 Cor. 13:11. What “childish” things do you see that many people are not willing to do away with that keep them entangled? (i.e.,- video games, sports etc.) Why might men and women want to act like they are still kids?
  2. 1 Cor. 14:20. Where does maturity start? What does Paul say is the opposite of being mature? Where are we to focus on the most to be mature? How do you renew your mind on a daily basis?
  3. Read Psalm 23 again and pray using this passage.

Wednesday, 9-26-12 - Reflecting on this past Sunday

1.  Read Hebrews 5:14. How are the mature known? How did they get mature?

2. Read Ephesians 5:18 and John 15:5. What is crucial in spiritual maturity?

3.  How mature are you in Christ? What words would you use to describe where you are presently in your walk?

Thursday, 9-27-12 - Preparing for this Upcoming Sunday

1.  Read 1 Peter 4:10. What has every believer received and why?

2.   Read 1 Cor. 12:4-6. What is important to remember concerning the fact that all

      our gifts differ and how does this truth affect how we view other believers?

Friday, 9-28-12 - Preparing for this Sunday

1.   Read Romans 12:3-8. What all do you see about spiritual gifts and our attitudes concerning these gifts?

2. What gifts do you most enjoy using and why?

 Saturday, 9-29-12 - Preparing for Tomorrow

1.  Read Jeremiah 24:7. What is the greatest gift God could give to anyone?

2.  Pray for God’s people to use their gifts for His glory in His power.
