1.  God’s original plan is still the best

 2.  Parents are responsible “to” their children not “for” their children

  2. What do you find most characteristic of teenagers that you would like to change (if you could) and what do you see that you could immolate?

 II. Overview of Scripture

  1. Read Luke 2:41-52. What do you observe by reading this section?
  2. Why did Jesus’ parents go to Jerusalem each year? Vs 41
  3. Why did Jesus get left behind? Vs 43-44
  4. What was Jesus doing in the Temple? Vs 46
  5. What influence did Jesus’ teaching have on the teachers? Vs 47.
  6. What was Jesus’ response to His parents after they looked for Him? Vs 49 
  7. What did Jesus do after this event? Vs 51
  8. What happened to Jesus over the next 30 years? Vs. 52
  9. Why do you think the Gospel writers left out almost all of Jesus’ childhood and early manhood?

 III. Growing deeper

1.        Review Sunday’s message with someone.

2.        Read the following Scriptures and write out whatever God shows you about parenting and family relationships.
