Easter Sunday
I. His Peace. (Luke 24:36-40)
John 14:27 – “Jesus said, ‘…my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives …Let not your hearts be troubled…or be afraid.’”
II. His Joy. (Luke 24:41-43)
Deep enjoyment of the soul that comes from a confidence in God and trusting that all things work together for my good and God’s glory.
John 15:11 (NLT) – “Jesus said, I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!”
2 Corinthians 7:4 - “I am overflowing with joy in spite of all our trouble.”
III. His Accomplishment. (Luke 24:44-48)
John 19:30 – Jesus said, “It is finished…”
IV. His Power. (Luke 24:49-53)
