1. Discuss Sunday’s message with someone.
2. What makes you most grateful about your life now? When are you tempted to be ungrateful?
3. Pray for a more grateful and obedient walk in the Lord.
Tuesday 2-26-13 - Reflecting on this Past Sunday
1. A. W. Tozer said, “The word of God was not given to us to make us intelligent sinners, but obedient and authentic saints.” Read John 5:39. Why do we ultimately need the Scriptures?
2. Read John 8:28-29. Describe what Jesus knew and the way Jesus walked on this earth.
3. Now read 1 John 2:6. How then are we to “walk” each day?
4. Pray for our desire to walk as Jesus walked.
Wednesday 2-27-13 - Reflecting on this Past Sunday
1. Read 1 John 1:5-10. What does it mean to walk in the Light?
2. How does the command in James 5:16 assist with walking in the Light?
3. How authentic and real are you? What specifically keeps you from these characteristics?
4. Pray for us to walk in the Light.
Thursday 2-28-13 - Preparing for this Sunday
1. Read Philippians 1:27-30.
2. What things do you see that describe "conduct worthy of the Gospel of Christ."
3. Read Philippians 3:18,19. What kind of conduct do you see here?
4. What makes the difference between the two types of conduct? (3:18 & 20)
Friday 3-1-13 - Preparing Ourselves for this Sunday
1. Read Philippians 1:27-30.
2. Applying these verses to the area of missions, how do you think "conduct
worthy of the Gospel of Christ" would be lived out?
3. In what ways are you conducting yourself in a manner worthy of the Gospel of Christ?
4. Pray for the Haiti mission team as they prepare to share on Sunday.
Saturday. 3-2-13 - Preparing for Tomorrow
1. Pray for the Haitian church that our mission team served in Cap Haitian.
2. Pray that God would convict our hearts for living any conduct not worthy
of His Gospel.
3. Read Psalms 32 in preparation for Communion.
