I exist to know Christ, treasure him and make Him known as a godly husband, father, pastor and friend.  (Identity and Influence)

2. What is my/our S.H.A.P.E. ?

My spiritual gifts are leadership, teaching, and serving and are to be used for His glory and for ministry.  

3. Is there any Scripture God has given me/us?

III. Abiding In Christ Individually and as a Family

1. Abiding is the conscious and constant state of resting in the power and presence of the Lord Jesus. (A. W. Pink)

A.W. Pink “To abide in Christ has always referenced to the maintenance of fellowship with God in Christ. The word ‘abide’ calls us to vigilance, lest at any time the experimental realization of our union with Christ should be interrupted.

To abide in Him, then, is to have sustained conscious communion with Him. To abide in Christ signifies the constant occupation of the heart with Him—

A daily active faith in Him which…maintains the dependency of the branch upon the vine, and the circulation of life (and nutrients) of the vine in the branch.”
