Matthew 24:12-13 “Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end,he will be saved."

Persevering, or continuing forward in our walk in Christ reveals that we are truly His. Did you notice that Jesus said “most” people’s love will turn cold, show itself to not be real. Church people, religious people, so called “good” people. “Many” will eventually grow cold toward God and others and drop off, drop out and drop away.  How do I know it will not be me? That question is answered in our passage this Sunday - Real Joy: Continue Loving God and His People.

Philippians 4:20-23   Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren who are with me greet you. All the saints greet you, especially those of Caesar’s household. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

PS - Keep in your prayers not only this Sunday, but also the following Sunday September 7^th. We will be celebrating 19 years at MCC, have a member share what it was like in the beginning and he will explain why a bulldozer got us in so much trouble. We will also look at where we believe the Lord is taking us through some enhancements in our ministry focus.
