 Faith Sheet

Reviewing this past Sunday

 1. Read Luke 24:36-53 and discuss with someone.

2. Describe to someone what His resurrection means to you and to your daily life.

3. What does the text cause you to appreciate about God? What does the passage lead you to confess or pray?

4. What must the disciples have before they can go into the world to live and minister? (vs. 49)

5. Read 1 Corinthians 15:20-28 and use it in your prayer to the Lord.

Preparing for Next Sunday

Promised Land: The God Who Goes Before

1. Read Joshua 3:1-17 and ask the Lord to reveal Himself and His truth.

2. HIGHLIGHT a verse or truth that stands out to you and write it out.

3. EXPLAIN the text in your own words to make sure you see the big picture of God’s Story. (Who wrote it, why was it written and to whom it was written? What is the context? How does the text point to the Father, Son or Spirit? What is said about our new identity as believers in Christ? What we are to be doing?)

4. APPLY a truth from the text to your life. (Focus on what God is saying to you and what is your act of obedience, confession, praise, giving thanks, etc.)

5. RESPOND in prayer and go live out what God reveals to you.
