Reviewing this Past Sunday with Family and Friends

1. What are some events that cause us to question God’s care for the world and people? Share a circumstance that may have caused you to have this kind of questioning.

2. What are some indications that God’s people were seeking Him, even though He seemed absent? (Psalm 34:18, 46:1, 145:18; Deuteronomy 4:7; James 4:8; Colossians 1:17; Hebrews 1:3)

3. How is the story of Esther similar to many believers throughout the world today? Can you name a person or people who helped shape the world because of their actions in the midst of adversity?

4. Can you think of a time when you felt you were put somewhere “for such a time as this” to do God’s will?

5. What are some aspects of your past that you’ve seen God use to make you more effective in serving Him? How did/are you serving Him because of these past experiences?

6. Where is God calling your community group, family, or self to “GO” as a disciple-maker?
