MOPS

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is our Women's Ministry to mothers of children ages birth through kindergarten. MOPS is a place where moms can be encouraged and equipped to be better moms, where they can develop relationships with other moms, and where they can receive practical help and support! We will have a time of food, fellowship, creative activities, and teaching on topics relevant to your life.

Our group meets on the 1st & 3rd Friday of each month (Sept-May) when Millcreek Schools are in session. And our first meeting for the 2016/2017 MOPS Year will be on Friday, September 16th!

DAY:   1st & 3rd Friday of each month (Sept-May), Beginning September 16th
TIME:  9:30AM - 11:30AM
LOCATION: Family Life Room
CHILDCARE: MOPPET program for children ages 6 months—5 years (or not having entered kindergarten yet).  Babies under 6 months are ALWAYS welcome in the meeting room!
FEES: $24.95 for M.O.P.S. International Membership and $40 annual Local MOPS Group Fee

THEME: We Are the Starry Eyed

  • Starry Eyed means looking for the light even when darkness is enveloping.  It is an opportunity to hope recklessly and to witness God's presence guiding things seen and unseen, comfortable and uncomfortable.
  • This year at MOPS, we will run wildly toward wonder, hope and kindness because we are the starry eyed and we choose to see the light in Christ.
  • Theme verse: "Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it... call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." Jeremiah 33:2-3

The MCC Group Membership Fee of $40 (used to cover supplies used throughout the year) will be due by the 3rd meeting attended, and payment plans can be arranged if needed.

“The greatest gift that MOPS has to offer us, as mothers, is the validation that we are valuable and uniquely beautiful.”

-Wendy

" MOPS meetings provide a fun and friendly atmosphere that helps create bonds between moms of all backgrounds. It is a place to get the support and advice you need when you feel like you're doing everything wrong. "
