Kid Connection
Kid Connection is offered at both services and is for children in Kindergarten – 4th grade. Kid Connection provides an atmosphere to worship Jesus, connect with other kids their age, be discipled on how to be more like Jesus, and serve each other. Our 9am Kid Connection focuses on a virtue of Jesus Christ each month. Read below all about this month's virtue. Our 10:45 Kid Connection is going through the Books of the Bible in our Generations of Grace curriculum. The lessons we are studying for March are listed below.
March's Virtue: 9am Service
This month we are learning about Honesty - choosing to be truthful in whatever you say and do. Our memory verse is Proverbs 12:22 NIV "The Lord detests lying lips, but He delights in men who are truthful."
Week 1: Cover Up (Joseph's brothers lied to Jacob) Genesis 37:17b-36; 45: 25-28 Bottom Line- When you're not truthful, you hurt the people you should care about most.
Week 2: Backfire (Haman's plot to destroy the Jews) Esther 3; 4;8b; 5:6-10; 7:1-6; 9b-10 Bottom Line - Lying to hur someone else really hurts YOU.
Week 3: Do Over (Jesus and Zacchaeus) Luke 19: 1-10 Bottom Line - Truthfulness builds friendships; dishonesty tears them down.
Week 4: Exposed (Judas betrays Jesus) John 12:3-6; Matthew 26: 14-16,20-25,47-50; 27:1-5 Bottom Line - You can lie so much you forget what matters.
