Every year the question of whether or not Christians, as we aim to honor God in all of our lives, should participate in Halloween.  The reponse over the years has been to create many Christian events on or around October 31.  These events include Reformation Festivals in honor of Martin Luther and other reformational leaders, Jesusween, Hell-Houses where scare tactics of hell and judgment are used to give a gospel message, or Harvest Festivals.  I have found one article very helpful for me and came across a second one this year that responds to the "Hell-House" idea.
