Why They Work
- The largest church can be broken into smaller units for discussion, praise, prayer and ministry to one another.
- Small Groups constantly expand the leadership base by allowing leaders to lead in a small group.
- The people of the church see normal people doing ministry. They are then encouraged to be involved in ministries God has called them to be and do.
- Small Groups enable three types of ministry not possible in large groups:
- Deal with personal needs and problems among group members.
- Encourage Godly friendships and build caring relationships.
- People are personally encouraged in their faith to live for the glory of God and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.
